FIELD: testing equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrified transport and can be used in an electric traction system to determine the location of damage in the contact network of a single-track AC section with two-way power supply. Essence: at the moment of a short circuit, the bus voltage of adjacent traction substations, the currents of emergency disconnected contact network lines with a short circuit and their phase angles are measured. Based on measurements in the emergency mode, the reactive power of the short circuit on the traction buses of two adjacent traction substations is calculated and their sum is determined. At the first stage, taking a conditionally homogeneous traction network with its linear resistance, based on the balance of reactive capacities in the inter-substation zone with a damaged traction network, according to the sum of the reactive power of the short circuit from traction substations and the total losses of reactive power on the traction network resistances, the distance to the short circuit location from the first substation is calculated. At the second stage, taking a real inhomogeneous traction network, its resistance is determined to the point of damage determined at the first stage of calculation, and the linear resistance is specified. The calculation of the specified distance to the damage point is repeated with the specified linear resistance.
EFFECT: improving the accuracy of determining the location of a short circuit.
