SUBSTANCE: inventions group relates to medicine. Subcutaneous tissue thickness measuring method, equipment, device and a machine-readable data carrier are provided. Method provides for emitting ultrasonic detector waves inwardly from a skin surface and receiving ultrasonic echo signals from ultrasonic detector waves; determining the moment of receiving ultrasonic echo signals from a subcutaneous tissue border via the ultrasonic echo signals values and the subcutaneous tissue characteristic parameters threshold value; computing the subcutaneous tissue thickness by the moment of receiving ultrasonic echo signals from the subcutaneous tissue border, which provides for an accurate tissue thickness measurement.
EFFECT: invention provides for computing the subcutaneous tissue thickness by the moment of receiving ultrasonic echo signals from the subcutaneous tissue border, which provides for an accurate tissue thickness measurement.
