FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods and systems for motion compensation in ultrasonic monitoring of patients' breathing. The technical result is to increase the reliability of measurement by correcting measurement errors during ultrasonic monitoring of respiration.
EFFECT: said technical result is achieved by the following: the respiratory detection system includes a first contact sensor located on the front side of the patient's body and a second contact sensor located on the dorsal side of the body; the first contact sensor includes an ultrasonic transducer, the first accelerometer unit and the magnetic field sensor unit, and the second contact sensor includes the second accelerometer unit and the magnetic field sensor unit; due to the patient's breathing, the abdominal region of the body moves to create measurement errors when the ultrasound beam is directed to an internal structure (internal tissue area) inside the patient's body, and the correction for such measurement errors uses the input data from the first and second accelerometer units and the magnetic field sensor unit.
