FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to cardiology, and describes a method for non-invasive determination of the levels of production of reactive oxygen species by epicardial adipose tissue (EAT) adipocytes in patients with coronary heart disease and coronary atherosclerosis. The method is characterized by the fact that blood is taken from the patient and the content of adiponectin in the blood serum and the values of postprandial levels of glucose and insulin are determined, after which the level of production of reactive oxygen species by EAT adipocytes (AO EAT) is calculated using a multiple linear regression model. When the calculated value of ROS EAT more than 1850.98 conv. units determine the high level of production of reactive oxygen species by adipocytes of the epicardial adipose tissue, with the calculated value of AO EAT less than 1850.98 conv. units determine the low level of production of reactive oxygen species by adipocytes of epicardial adipose tissue.
EFFECT: invention allows to improve the stratification of patients with coronary heart disease according to the degree of risk of developing cardiovascular diseases and to make a correction in therapy.
