FIELD: building materials.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to building materials, namely the production of loose lightweight aggregates for thermal insulation of walls, ceilings, partitions for low-rise construction. The method for obtaining a light granular material includes the formation of granules from an organic-mineral mixture and their drying at a temperature of 60-65°C for 1-2 hours. As organic raw materials, sawdust and flax husk are used in a mass ratio of 3:1, which are treated with liquid sodium glass during mixing. The organomineral mixture is prepared by mixing treated sawdust and flax shives with the addition of an aqueous emulsion of polyvinyl acetate and styrene-acrylic latex in a 5:1 mass ratio.
EFFECT: production of light granular material with increased strength and heat-insulating properties, utilization of wood and plant waste.
