FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medicine and can be used to track the transition from an aerosol-generating product of the first type, such as an aerosol-generating product of a combustible type, to an aerosol-generating product of the second type, such as heated aerosol-generating products. A system including a machine-readable medium and a device is proposed to implement a method that includes: the first computer automatically detects the consumption of an aerosol-generating product of the first type for at least one period of time using a sensor device to provide at least one first value characterizing the consumption of an aerosol-generating product of the first type for at least one specified period time, moreover, the sensor device contains a communication interface for communication with other devices and is designed to be located near a part of the use’s body; the second computer provides at least one second value characterizing the consumption of the aerosol-generating product of the second type for the specified at least one period of time, and the aerosol-generating product of the first type differs from the aerosol-generating product of the second type; the second computer generates at least one indicator characterizing the transition from the consumption of an aerosol-generating product of the first type to the consumption of an aerosol-generating product of the second type, based on the specified at least one first value and at least one second value; and the graphical user interface displays a supporting text message to encourage the user regarding the transition of consumption from an aerosol-generating product of the first type to an aerosol-generating product of the second type and/or information content related to the transition of consumption from an aerosol-generating product of the first type to an aerosol-generating product of the second type.
EFFECT: group of inventions provides automatic detection of consumption for use when switching to the consumption of aerosol-generating products.
