SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to aerosol-generating systems. System comprises an aerosol-generating device for heating the aerosol-forming substrate and an outer sleeve. Aerosol-generating device comprises a casing and a plurality of internal components contained in an inner space bounded by the casing. Casing comprises an outer surface and at least one bent or bendable area bent or made with the possibility of bending into the inner space or towards it for interaction with one of the inner components. Outer sleeve covers said at least one bent or bendable area. Bendable area may comprise a tab defined by cuts on the outer surface. Tab can interact with at least one of the internal components to retain that component. At least one tab can interact with the internal component as part of the user interface of the device, allowing the user to control the device.
