FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the oil and gas industry, in particular to barrier devices for separation of a borehole. A borehole barrier device for use in operations in a borehole contains a case having a structure, a breaking layer formed with the case and having another structure. The case has the first side containing a hole adjacent to the breaking layer. The first case side and the adjacent breaking layer are made with the possibility of breaking at lower pressure than an opposite case side. The case and the breaking layer are formed as a single whole. For implementation of a method for the manufacture of a borehole barrier device, a case structure is created, a breaking layer structure is created, a cast of the borehole barrier device is created, in which the breaking layer is formed with the case, using the case structure and the breaking layer structure. The case has the first side containing a hole adjacent to the breaking layer. The first case side and the adjacent breaking layer are made with the possibility of breaking at lower pressure than an opposite case side. The case and the breaking layer are formed as a single whole. For implementation of a method for the use of a borehole barrier device, the barrier case and the breaking layer, formed as a single whole, are installed in the borehole. The case has the first side containing a hole adjacent to the breaking layer. The first side of the barrier case and the adjacent breaking layer are broken at lower pressure than an opposite case side. Break of the breaking layer is created in response to application of a force to the breaking layer.

EFFECT: provision of break of a breaking layer at pressure depending on an application direction.
