SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to detect chronic urethritis in men. In clinical material — a urethral smear — molecular components of microbial origin are identified and quantified using gas chromatography-mass spectrometry. And when the level of at least 3 opportunistic microorganisms increases, in accordance with Table 3 presented in the description, when the total level of these indicators increases by at least 50% above the healthy group, chronic urethritis caused by opportunistic microorganisms is diagnosed.
EFFECT: method allows to increase the accuracy of diagnostics of chronic urethritis by assessing the totality of the most significant indicators.
