FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a technology of measurement of electrical values, in particular, to devices and methods for measurement of characteristics of an electromagnetic field. An underground communication line locator is proposed, containing a case, a probe attached to the case, while the probe includes an array of low-frequency antennas located along the probe, wherein the low-frequency antenna array defines an electromagnetic location axis of a line locator system, a real-time kinematics antenna (hereinafter – RTK) of a global navigation satellite system (hereinafter – GNSS), attached to the case, a user interface located in the case, and a processing circuit connected to the low-frequency antenna array, RTK GNSS antenna, and the user interface, wherein the case defines a location axis in a forward direction, which is perpendicular to the electromagnetic location axis, and along which a user handle is formed, and the user interface and RTK GNSS antenna are attached, wherein RTK GNSS antenna is separated from the electromagnetic location axis.
EFFECT: increase in the accuracy of determination of a location of an underground communication line.
