FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for the production of L-lysin by fermentation. The method provides modification of an aconitase gene and/or its regulative element in a bacterium chromosome in such a way that activity and/or an aconitase expression level of the bacterium are reduced, but not eliminated, and production of L-lysin by fermentation in the bacterium obtained using the specified modification.
EFFECT: invention provides an increase in the yield of L-lysin.
