FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to physiotherapy and otorhinolaryngology, and can be used to treat vasomotor rhinitis. The method includes exposure of the mucosa of the inferior turbinates to a d'Arsonval pulsed current using an electrode. Each nasal passage is treated through a mushroom-shaped electrode once during each procedure. The procedures are carried out daily, using the maximum mode with an output voltage of 20 kV. A course consists of 8-10 procedures. The duration of the procedures is: the first and second procedure - 3 minutes, the third procedure - 4 minutes, the fourth procedure - 6 minutes, the fifth procedure - 7 minutes, the sixth procedure - 9 minutes, the seventh - the tenth procedure - 10 minutes.
EFFECT: method allows to increase the effectiveness of treatment by exposure to electropulse current and normalization of the vegetative-vascular balance, blood flow and trophism of the mucous membrane of the lower turbinates due to the exposure by a d'Arsonval pulsed current in an optimally selected treatment regimen.
