FIELD: medicine; otorhinolaryngology.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to treat vasomotor rhinitis. A saccharin test is performed and laser Doppler flowmetry of the inferior turbinates is performed after the treatment. If the time value of the saccharin test is within 15–21 minutes and if the value of the average microcirculation index during laser Doppler flowmetry is within 8.74–20.7 PU, the treatment is assessed as effective. If the time value of the saccharin test is more than 21 minutes and if the value of the average microcirculation index during laser Doppler flowmetry is more than 20.7 PU, the treatment is assessed as ineffective.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to improve the accuracy and objectivity of evaluating the effectiveness of treatment of vasomotor rhinitis due to clear criteria, namely, reference ranges and dual control when evaluating therapy.
