METHOD FOR PREDICTING PRENATAL LESIONS OF THE FETAL CENTRAL NERVOUS SYSTEM IN PLACENTAL INSUFFICIENCY BASED ON MODERN DIAGNOSTIC METHODS Russian patent published in 2023 - IPC A61B17/42 A61B5/55 A61B8/08

Abstract RU 2792545 C1

FIELD: medicine; obstetrics and perinatology.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to predict prenatal damage to the fetal CNS. The value of the pulsation index in the umbilical artery PIPA and the presence of damage to the placenta according to magnetic resonance imaging MRIP are determined with subsequent calculation of the prognostic index P according to the presented formula. With a value of P≤-3.1 prenatal lesions of the central nervous system in the fetus are predicted, and with a value of P>-3.1 there is no risk of prenatal damage to the central nervous system in the fetus.

EFFECT: method allows to optimize the timing of timely delivery and improve the perinatal outcome by assessing the totality of the most significant indicators.
