FIELD: medicine; operative orthopedics.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for positioning the acetabular component of the endoprosthesis during hip arthroplasty operations. Before the operation, the patient's pelvis is fixed with stops in the position on the side so that the bispinal line is perpendicular to the plane of the operating table. During the operation, after installation of the trial femoral component of the endoprosthesis, the femur is repositioned into the acetabulum, the lower limb is placed in the following position: abduction 0°, rotation 0° and extension 180° in the hip joint. A device consisting of two blocks is put on the cone of the trial femoral component of the endoprosthesis; the first block of the device has two parallel through holes, one of which is intended for insertion of a knitting needle into it, and the second is intended for insertion of a hairpin. The second block also has two parallel through holes, one of which is intended for insertion of a pin, and the other is intended for installation of a trial component of the endoprosthesis on the cone. The blocks of the device are interconnected with the help of a pin. The device is fixed on the cone of the trial femoral component of the endoprosthesis by inserting it into the hole of the second block, then a pin is inserted into the through hole of the first block. The first block is rotated around the pin relative to the second block so that the pin is in the area of the upper edge of the acetabulum. The needle is screwed into the upper edge of the acetabulum. The device is removed from the cone of the femoral component of the endoprosthesis and from the pin, the hip is dislocated, a guide with the acetabular endoprosthesis component fixed on it is installed in the acetabulum, positioning it so that the axis of the guide in the frontal plane is parallel to the axis of the pin.
EFFECT: method provides reduction of invasiveness of surgical intervention and reduction of its duration due to peculiarities of positioning of the acetabular component of the endoprosthesis.
