FIELD: chemical industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for obtaining 5-amino-3-cyanomethyl-1H-pyrazole-4-carbonitrile of formula 1, which is an intermediate product in the synthesis of biologically active compounds and a reagent for the synthesis of polynitrogen-containing heterocyclic compounds. The method for preparing 5-amino-3-cyanomethyl-1H-pyrazole-4-carbonitrile is characterized in that the potassium salt of the malononitrile dimer is reacted with hydrazinium sulphate in water by heating 90°C with stirring for 2 hours.
EFFECT: reduced number of synthesis stages and increased yield of the target product based on the initial malononitrile.
