FIELD: polymer compositions.
SUBSTANCE: method for obtaining treated glass fibers and polymer compositions. Polymer compositions are intended for use as structural polymeric materials in additive technologies and including polyesterimide and glass fibre treated with p-phenylenediamine. treatment agent is applied as a solution of p-phenylenediamine (p-PDA) with a mass concentration of 0.05-0.32% in an organic solvent chloroform and a then step-by-step increase in temperature is carried out in a nitrogen gas medium with simultaneous distillation of the solvent and exposure to ultrasound with an operating power of 35 kHz under the following modes: 20°С - 15 min, 30°С - 15 min, 40°С - 20 min, 60°С - 15 min, 70°С - 20 min, and the amount of treated fibre components corresponds to the ratio, in % by weight: p-PDA 1-3, glass fibre 97-99. These fibres are introduced into the polyesterimide composition in an amount of 20% by weight.
EFFECT: improvement of the melt flow rate and impact strength of the glass fibre polyesterimide composition created due to introduction of a treating composition, which increases the wettability of the filler and increases the intermolecular interactions between the glass fibre and the polyesterimide matrix.
