FIELD: medicine; ophthalmology.
SUBSTANCE: ophthalmic applicator includes a ring made of a polymeric material. The inner diameter of the ring is 10 mm, the width is 3 mm. Four through notches less than 3 mm long are made along the outer circumference of the ring, located at an angle to the diameter line. The applicator is made with the possibility of laying the medicine inside the ring.
EFFECT: use of this invention will allow to maintain the required concentration of the drug locally in the membranes and structures of the eye.
