FIELD: ophthalmology.
SUBSTANCE: used to diagnose diabetic retinopathy (DR) in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. A wide-field capillaroscopy of the nail bed is performed with the determination of indicators of arterial linear blood flow velocity, venous linear blood flow velocity and areal capillary network density. The p value is calculated using the formula p=1/(1+ez), where z = -2.288+3.797*X1+2.139*X2-0.268*X3, while: X1=0 if the value of blood flow velocity in the arterial region is >512 mm/s, X1=1 if the value of blood flow velocity in the arterial region is ≤512 mm/s; X2=0 if the value of the blood flow velocity in the venous section is >485 mm/sec, X2=1 if the value of the blood flow velocity in the venous section ≤485 mm/s; Х3=0 if the value of the density value of the areal capillary network >38.4%, Х3=1 if the value of the density of the areal capillary network ≤38.4%. At p<0.5, the absence of the disease is diagnosed, at p≥0.5 DR is diagnosed.
EFFECT: increased accuracy of diagnosing DR in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus due to the most informative parameters of nail bed microcirculation.
