FIELD: gas detection means.

SUBSTANCE: gas detector from a set of target devices contains: a communication unit, a detection unit, an alarm signal generation unit, a detector control unit. The communication unit is connected via wired or wireless circuits to a wired/wireless data exchange network to perform data exchange with the detector coordination unit. The detection unit comprises a detection unit of at least one type of gas, providing data on gas measurements from a number of target devices in accordance with the concentrations of different types of gas exposed to air. The detector control unit includes an operation setting unit that performs operation setting according to the detection type information input by the sensor connection unit. The detector control unit adjusts the operation of the detection units of at least one type of gas from the detection unit and detects the presence of a gas leak from a number of target devices by detecting the gas concentration of the target devices.
