FIELD: studying destruction of ice cover.
SUBSTANCE: means for studying the destruction of ice cover by mechanical means. Stand contains a freezing chamber (1) with a pool (2) with water installed inside it. Above the pool (2) there is a trolley (14) capable of moving on rails (15). A stern-tube (7) is installed in the centre of the pool (2), through which a rod (8) passes, in the upper part of which a removable core (9) is installed. The lower end of the rod (8) is located under the bottom of the pool (2) and is connected to a dynamometer (10) and a linear displacement sensor (11). The dynamometer (10) and the linear displacement sensor (11) are fixed on the retractable rod (12) of the lifting mechanism (13). A two-component dynamometer (17) is fixed on the trolley (14), connected by means of a vertical movement mechanism (18) to a core (21). The core (21) can be installed at any angle to the surface (3) of the ice to be broken and to break the ice in both vertical and horizontal directions.
EFFECT: possibility to break ice both in vertical and horizontal directions.
