FIELD: aerosol generating devices.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a cartridge for an aerosol source and to a method for manufacturing a cartridge. The aerosol source cartridge installed in the steam generator part contains a heating element for heating the aerosol source, wherein the cartridge contains: the first component and the second component, at least one of which is made of a polymeric material, and a connecting part, one end of which is connected to the first component, and the other end is attached or welded to the second component. The second component has a front surface that faces the first component, and the outermost edge of the front surface, and the specified other end of the connecting part is attached or welded to the front surface of the second component in a position remote from the outermost edge. The presence of the connecting part allows a simple, accurate and accurate connection of the components of the cartridge by welding, since the material of the elements of the connecting part located in a certain way relative to the components of the cartridge is subjected to melting, and, thereby, residual (molten) material is prevented from entering the cartridge.

EFFECT: increased efficiency of the cartridge manufacturing process and improved performance of the cartridge.
