FIELD: aerosol generation devices.

SUBSTANCE: proposed group of inventions is related to a cartridge and a method for its manufacturing. A cartridge installed in a part of the steam generator, which comprises a heating element for heating the aerosol source, a first component and a second component, at least one of which is made of a polymeric material, and a connecting part, one end of which is attached to the first component, and the other end is welded to the second component. The first component has a first front surface that faces the second component and a first outermost edge of the first front surface. The second component has a second front surface that faces the first component and a second outermost edge of the second front surface. The first outermost edge and the second component are not welded to each other, and the second outermost edge and the first component are not welded to each other. A method for manufacturing a cartridge, in which the first component is a cap and the second component is a cylindrical element, includes attaching a heating unit containing a heating element to one end of the cylindrical element and closing an opening at this end of the cylindrical element, filling the inside of the cylindrical element, to to which the heating unit is attached, the aerosol source, and welding the connecting part to the other end of the cylindrical element filled with the aerosol source. The second embodiment of the cartridge manufacturing method includes welding said other end of the connecting part to the second component in such a way that the first front surface of the first component and the second front surface of the second component are not welded to each other.

EFFECT: prevention of ingress of residual material into the cartridge forming the steam generator.
