FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: monitoring the carriage of a modified vaccine strain (nOPV2) type 2 of the poliomyelitis virus in healthy individuals, diagnosing individuals with suspected poliomyelitis and patients with poliomyelitis. Diagnosis is carried out using RNA isolated from biological samples and wastewater for the purpose of diagnosis and/or epidemiological monitoring, as well as for solving research problems to study the properties of the modified poliovirus vaccine type 2 (nOPV2).
EFFECT: method for detecting nOPV2 RNA by real-time RT-PCR, which consists of original oligonucleotide primers and an oligonucleotide labeled with a fluorescent label (fluorescent probe).
