SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a method of detecting RNA of the virus of Crimean–Congo haemorrhagic fever using real-time RT-PCR, which includes RNA extraction from biological samples followed by a two-stage reverse transcription reaction and a polymerase chain reaction for the target RNA fragments of the virus genome using a set of oligonucleotide primers and the corresponding fluorescent-labelled probe, complementary to the segment S of the gene, encoding the nucleocapsid protein of the virus of Crimean–Congo haemorrhagic fever, characterized in that the sequence used as a direct primer is – atc ggc act agt tga agc cac, as a reverse primer – gtg tag ctt tcg tcc caa gat tt, as a probe – cgc cca tat atg agt gtg cct ggg with fluorescent mark R6G by 5'-end and with non-fluorescent damper BHQ1 for 3'-end.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to monitor and diagnose the virus of Crimean–Congo haemorrhagic fever in healthy, sick and persons with suspected haemorrhagic fever caused by the virus, and epidemiological monitoring.
