SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a method of detecting Bandavirus dabieense (SFTSV) virus RNA by real-time RT-PCR. Method involves extraction of RNA from biological samples, followed by a two-step reverse transcription reaction and a polymerase chain reaction for target RNA fragments of the viral genome using a set of oligonucleotide primers and a corresponding fluorescent-labelled probe, complementary to a portion of the gene L, which codes the RNA-dependent RNA polymerase of the B. dabieense virus. Forward and reverse primers used are sequences SFTSV-F (SEQ ID NO.1) aga tgr act tgg aag tgc ttt g; SFTSV-R (SEQ ID NO.2) tga agt cat gat tga tct tat atg c, and as a probe SFTSV-P (SEQ ID NO.3) R6G – ata aac gtg gag aat ggg ctg tct cgt tt – BHQ1.

EFFECT: method solves the problem of detecting genetic markers of this virus and enables monitoring and diagnosing Bandavirus dabieense virus in healthy individuals, patients and persons with suspected fever with thrombocytopenic syndrome and in people suffering from fever with thrombocytopenic syndrome.
