METHOD FOR SURGICAL TREATMENT OF STENOSING LIGAMENTITIS OF FINGERS Russian patent published in 2023 - IPC A61B17/00 A61B17/56 

FIELD: medicine; traumatology; orthopedics.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for surgical treatment of stenosing ligamentitis of the fingers. Under local anesthesia, an incision is made along the palmar-finger groove of the first finger with a length of at least 15 mm. The annular ligament of the finger is exposed in layers in the projection of the metacarpophalangeal joint, its partial dissection is performed, followed by the passage of a grooved probe under it. The annular ligament is then dissected; the dissected edges of the ligament are taken to the Billroth clamp and resected along the edge of the latter, until the restoration of the sliding of the finger flexor tendons is achieved. Hemostasis is performed and postoperative wound is sutured.

EFFECT: method provides reduction of recurrence of the disease, reduction of temporary disability and material costs for treatment due to resection of the annular ligament.
