Method for preparing pre-catalyst compositions for the polymerization of olefins, which includes: a) bringing into contact a solvent, a carboxylic acid, a nitrogen-containing compound and a peroxide-containing compound to form an acidic mixture, b) bringing a titanium-containing compound and an acidic mixture into contact to form a solubilized titanium mixture, c) bringing into contact carrier of chromium-silica, drying the addition product by heating. Method for preparing pre-catalyst compositions for the polymerization of olefins, which includes: a) contacting a solvent, at least two carboxylic acids and a peroxide-containing compound to form an acidic mixture, b) bringing a titanium-containing compound and an acidic mixture into contact to form a solubilized titanium mixture, c) bringing into contact carrier of chromium-silica, drying. Method for preparing pre-catalyst compositions for the polymerization of olefins, which includes: a) bringing into contact a solvent, a carboxylic acid, an acidic phenol nitrogen-containing compound and a peroxide-containing compound to form an acidic mixture, b) bringing a titanium-containing compound and an acidic mixture into contact to form a solubilized titanium mixture, c) bringing into contact carrier of chromium-silica, drying of product.
