FIELD: analytical chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in the pharmaceutical industry and related industries. The method for determining the alkaloids of lanceolate thermopsis is characterized by the use of high-performance thin-layer chromatography — densitometry (HPTLC-densitometry). Extraction is carried out with a composition consisting of chloroform, water, 32% ammonia solution in a ratio of 20:1:1, anhydrous sodium sulfate is added, the composition is mixed and filtered. The extract is extracted two more times with chloroform and filtered, evaporated to a dry residue, which is dissolved in methanol and separated on a chromatographic plate with a layer of silica gel with a fluorescent indicator in a chamber with a mobile phase consisting of chloroform, methanol, ammonia solution of 35 v/v.% in the ratio of 20:3:0.5. Then the plate is treated with a solution containing a composition of a 0.48% solution of basic bismuth nitrate in glacial acetic acid and a 60% aqueous solution of potassium iodide in a ratio of 25:5, with methanol added to it in a ratio of 1:7.33. The plate is scanned on a spectrodensitometer at a wavelength of 520 nm.
EFFECT: development of a technical solution in the form of a method characterized by selectivity, sensitivity and accuracy.
