SUBSTANCE: method and computer system for encoding a video sequence are proposed. Video information corresponding to one or more sub-images in an image is received. The first sub-image is identified from among one or more sub-images as the region of interest. The first sub-image corresponding to the region of interest is encoded in high quality mode. One or more other sub-pictures of the one or more sub-images are encoded in a low quality mode. The first encoded sub-picture and one or more other encoded sub-images are output with one or more sets of output levels.
EFFECT: increase of efficiency of video encoding.
