SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a compound having formula (I) or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, where one of X and Y is C and the other is N; R1 is selected from halogen, CN, C1-C4 alkoxy, and C1-C4 alkyl optionally substituted with 1-3 halogens; and R2 is 3,4-dimethoxyphenyl or 1,3-dimethyl-1H-indazol-5-yl. The invention also relates to a pharmaceutical composition for inhibiting enteroviruses based on a compound of formula (I).
EFFECT: new compounds and a pharmaceutical composition based on them have been obtained, which can be used in medicine as effective medicinal products for the treatment of enterovirus infection, where enteroviruses are selected from EV, Coxsackie virus, poliomyelitis, and rhinovirus.
