FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the production of analgesic peptides in prokaryotes, and can be used in medicine. HCRG21 peptide is obtained by transforming competent cells of Escherichia coli BL21(DE3) with recombinant plasmid DNA pSMT3_HCRG21 providing the synthesis of the hybrid protein SMT3_HCRG21 containing the target peptide in Escherichia coli cells. The invention discloses a strain of Escherichia coli BL21(DE3)/ pSMT3_HCRG21 producing the said fusion protein, as well as a method for producing the said recombinant HCRG21 peptide, which involves cultivating the said strain of Escherichia coli BL21(DE3)/ pSMT3_HCRG21.
EFFECT: formation of HCRG21 which has closed disulfide bonds according to mass spectrometry and is capable of inhibiting capsaicin-induced currents through the TRPV1 ion channel on model cells.
