SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to biotechnology. Disclosed is a recombinant protein having protective effect on meningococcus having amino acid sequence SEQ ID NO: 2, consisting of three fragments of primary structure of IgA protease Neisseria meningitidis serogroup B, connected in a single polypeptide chain. Also disclosed is a recombinant protein variant having the amino acid sequence SEQ ID NO: 4, consisting of two fragments of primary structure of IgA protease Neisseria meningitidis serogroup B, connected in a single polypeptide chain. Invention also discloses a polynucleotide encoding a corresponding recombinant protein, a recombinant plasmid DNA comprising a corresponding polynucleotide, a host cell transformed with recombinant plasmid DNA and producing a recombinant protein, and a method of producing a recombinant protein.
EFFECT: group of inventions provides producing highly purified immunogenic proteins with a high level of protective action on meningococci.
