SUBSTANCE: group of inventions can be used to treat local defects of articular surfaces of joints. After performing arthrotomy of the damaged joint, marginal resection of the affected areas of the cartilage is performed, blocking the affected area of the articulating surface. A channel is formed in the center of the formed groove, a local defect of the articular surface is replaced by cementless press-fit fixation of the hemiendoprosthesis. The hemiendoprosthesis is made of ceramic, on the back side of the articular head of which longitudinal and transverse grooves are made. The articulating surface of the articular head of the hemiendoprosthesis has a smooth polished surface, and the stem has a rough surface and three longitudinal ribs with transverse notches and passes perpendicularly through the center of the back surface of the articular head.

EFFECT: group of inventions ensures the restoration of the function of the affected joint, reduces the traumatization of the cartilage tissue and increases the stability of the fixation of the ceramic endoprosthesis by improving the sliding on the cartilage surface of the opposite articular surface and increasing the area of contact with the bone and the ingrowth of the bone tissue onto the surface of the ceramic hemiendoprosthesis adjacent to the plane of the bone cut.
