SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of obtaining crystals of heptahydrate 5'-disodium guanylate from an aqueous solution 5'-guanilic acid. A of obtaining crystals of disodium 5'-guanylate heptahydrate without using an organic solvent is disclosed, including the following: mixing an aqueous solution of salt and an aqueous solution of disodium 5'-guanylate to form amorphous solids in a mixed solution, where the salt includes NaCl; and adding seed crystals to the mixed solution to form crystals of disodium 5'-guanylate heptahydrate, wherein the addition of seed crystals is carried out while maintaining a temperature of 25°C to 45°C.
EFFECT: invention provides an efficient and safe preparation of heptahydrate crystals 5'-disodium guanylate, free of residual organic solvent.
