METHOD OF DETERMINING THE OPTIMAL TIME FOR REHABILITATION MEASURES IN PATIENTS WITH CHRONIC DISORDERS OF CONSCIOUSNESS Russian patent published in 2023 - IPC A61H1/00 A61B5/00 A61B5/21 G01N33/48

Abstract RU 2799144 C1

FIELD: medicine; rehabilitation.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to determine the optimal time for rehabilitation measures in patients with chronic impairment of consciousness. Before carrying out rehabilitation measures, the patient determines the level of cortisol in the blood plasma: at 08.00 a.m., 12.00 a.m., 03.00 p.m., 06.00 p.m. Then, the time point of the maximum level of cortisol concentration in the blood plasma is identified. Rehabilitation measures are carried out sequentially in the mentioned order in one session at the identified time point of the maximum concentration of cortisol in the blood plasma, for 60 minutes, daily for 5 days with a break — 2 days off; the number of rehabilitation sessions is determined individually.

EFFECT: method provides an increase in the effectiveness of rehabilitation measures.
