FIELD: coatings.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for producing an antibacterial coating containing silver nanoparticles on the surface of a titanium or titanium alloy implant. Pre-treatment of the surface of the specified implant is carried out in a solution of 98% sulfuric acid and 30% hydrogen peroxide in a ratio of 1:3, at a temperature of 18-22°C for 90 min. Then an antibacterial coating is obtained by modifying the surface of the specified implant with the formation of silver nanoparticles on it by the method of polyol synthesis. Polyol synthesis is carried out in a polyethylene glycol-400 medium containing chemically pure silver nitrate (AgNO3) at a concentration of 2 mg/ml, at a temperature of 18-22°C and with constant stirring for 18 min. For 8 minutes, this stirring is carried out under the influence of ultraviolet radiation, and for the next 10 minutes without exposure to ultraviolet radiation. Then the implant is washed in distilled water and dried in air for 10-20 hours.

EFFECT: coating with a stable antibacterial surface effect is created after the implant is installed.
