SUBSTANCE: in a secure device that interacts with a remote device via a network: collecting call data, with each call associated with a specific call identifier; calculating a probabilistic hash based on the call IDs associated with the collected data; transmitting the computed probabilistic hash to the remote device; on the remote device: generating call identifiers from a probabilistic hash; determining at least one suspicious call identifier based on the analysis of the generated call identifiers; requesting from the secure device data associated with the suspicious call identifier, where the data includes information about the call associated with the specified identifier; recognizing the suspicious identifier and the call associated with the specified identifier as unwanted based on the analysis of the data received upon request.

EFFECT: increasing the accuracy of determining a call as unwanted by using a frequency analysis of the generated call identifiers while ensuring the security of the personal data of the user making the call through the use of probabilistic hashes calculated on the basis of call identifiers.
