FIELD: medical biotechnology.

SUBSTANCE: method of obtaining cholera toxin to control the production of a cholera chemical vaccine including submerged cultivation of producer strains, sterilizing filtration of the culture liquid, and precipitation of the protein fraction is described. The method differs from analogues by the following: cholera toxin is isolated by successive application of tangential ultrafiltration to remove impurities with a molecular weight above 100 kDa and concentrating the resulting filtrate with additional adsorbent filtration through a two-layer filter with a positive charge and column gel chromatography.

EFFECT: simplifying the technology for obtaining the XT medicinal product while maintaining its immunochemical properties.
