FIELD: manufacture of ultra-thin hot-rolled steel strip.
SUBSTANCE: steel is smelted by feeding scrap steel into an induction electric furnace. Steel is refined by using a ladle refining furnace and a vacuum degassing ladle furnace for refining molten steel. The refined molten steel is continuously cast using a two-roll thin steel strip continuous casting system to obtain a cast steel strip blank with a thickness of 1.6-2.5 mm. Hot rolling of a billet of cast steel strip with a thickness of 1.6-2.5 mm is carried out by feeding it to a single-stand hot rolling mill to produce a strip with a thickness of 0.8-1.5 mm. The hot-rolled steel strip is cooled and coiled by spray cooling with steel strip temperature control in the range of 400-750°C and subsequent winding of the steel strip. Cooling of hot-rolled steel strip is carried out by spraying in three stages with cooling rate control sequentially 50-80°C/s, 20-50°C/s and 10-20°C/s.
EFFECT: environmentally friendly and economical continuous production of metal strips.
