FIELD: medicine, dentistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for use in the treatment of subgingival defects of teeth deeper than 5 mm from the level of the marginal gum, followed by prosthetics. Treatment is carried out in two stages. At the first stage, access is made to the area of the tooth 5–7 mm below the gum level, for which at the first stage: step (a) is sequentially repeated, during which a tape made of polytetrafluoroethylene or coated with polytetrafluoroethylene is wrapped around the perimeter at least once gingival sulcus, forming a ring, and stage (b), during which pressure on the top of the said ring is deepened into the gingival sulcus to the required depth and steps (a) and (b) are repeated in such a way as to fill the space between the tooth and the gum to a depth of 5–7 mm below the gum level in a continuous layer. Then, the said tape is removed. At the second stage a temporary restoration is installed to form an expanded gum contour for a period of 14–60 days, a temporary restoration is removed to take an impression from the tooth stump for the manufacture of a permanent crown, a temporary restoration is re-installed for the period of manufacture of a permanent crown, a temporary restoration is removed and a permanent crown is installed. The aforementioned tape is removed 10–30 min after the completion of stages (a) and (b); in one of the first steps (a) the aforementioned tape is wrapped at least twice around the perimeter of the gingival sulcus, forming at least two layers of the aforementioned ring; steps (a) and (b) are repeated at least twice one after the other; after step (a) the end of the above tape is cut off; between stages (a) and (b) the space between the gum and the tooth is dried; the aforementioned tape in the gingival sulcus is placed with a packer for vertical packaging, holding the edge of the aforementioned tape with a button probe; the aforementioned tape, placed in the gingival sulcus, is compacted with a horizontal packer; the aforementioned tape is made of porous polytetrafluoroethylene; use the above tape 0.5 mm thick and 5 mm wide; the aforementioned permanent crown is made of zirconia.
EFFECT: obtaining a tooth prosthetic method.
