SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to determine the probability of coronary heart disease in young people by examining blood serum and determining triglycerides (TG). Total antioxidants (OA) are determined in blood serum by enzyme immunoassay, height and body weight are measured. The diagnostic index is calculated using the following formula YD =1/[1+exp(Sd)], where Sd=OA*1.429+TG*0.002+(body weight, kg/(height, m)2)*0.049-4.312. If the value of the diagnostic index exceeds 0.55, it is determined that young people probability have coronary heart disease.

EFFECT: method provides a significant acceleration of the procedure for obtaining the results of the study and the possibility of using for screening due to the use of the original calculation formula that takes into account the concentration of OA and TG, body weight and height of the patient.
