FIELD: manufacturing tools for minting coins, medals and other coin-like products.
SUBSTANCE: method is characterized by using a constant speed of the mirrors of the scanning system of the laser unit, setting the mode of filling a single surface of the entire or part of the sections of the polished chrome-plated working surface of the stamp to a depth of 0.2 mcm with recesses by laser burning, where the laser structure is applied at the speed of the laser beam 800 mm/s, pulse repetition rate 320 kHz and pulse duration 200 mcs, which allows to obtain a color image with the effect of light interference on the working surface of the stamp, with the possibility of forming a color image on the product by embossing.
EFFECT: improved minting efficiency.
