FIELD: thin-film technologies.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the technology for producing thin films of copper-titanium oxide (Cu-Ti-O) by the extraction-pyrolytic method. The method includes preparing a composition containing titanium oxide, applying it to a preliminarily cleaned substrate, annealing the coated substrate until organic compounds are removed and an oxide coating is formed. To prepare the composition, Cu and Ti are extracted from solutions of inorganic salts CuCl2 and TiOSO4 with C5-C9 carboxylic acids, the organic extract phases are separated from the aqueous phases, the concentration of the Cu extract and the Ti extract is specified before mixing, then the resulting Cu and Ti extracts are mixed, the composition is applied on a substrate and subjected to pyrolysis in air at the temperature from 450°C to 550°C until decomposition of organics and subsequent annealing, then the substrate is cooled from 45°C to 70°C. The operations of applying the composition to the substrate, annealing and cooling are cycled at least 3 times.
EFFECT: invention provides obtaining a homogeneous coating with stable antibacterial properties from stable precursors by a low-cost and resource-saving method.
