FIELD: chemical industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a synthetic method for obtaining a pyridazinone compound. The method includes: (a) contacting R1 MgX with a compound of formula (I)
to obtain a compound of formula (II)
in which R1 represents isopropyl or isopropenyl, X represents halogen and R2 represents H or a protective group for an amine; and (b) converting a compound of formula (II) to a compound of formula (III)
in the presence of a base when R1 is isopropenyl, or in the presence of an oxidizing agent when R1 is isopropyl. Compounds suitable for carrying out said method are also provided.
EFFECT: proposed method allows large-scale production of pyridazinone compounds of high purity in high yield.
