FIELD: high-frequency electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the induction heating of various metal-containing products by high-frequency currents and solves the problem of improving the quality of heating of the product placed inside the device. The heating device comprises a cone inductor, inside which is placed heat-insulating, refractory and steel hollow cones with the same wall thickness along their entire length, which repeat the shape of the cone inductor. The winding pitch of an inductor is inversely proportional to its inner diameter. The product to be heated is placed inside a steel cone.

EFFECT: improved quality of heating products of complex geometric shape.
