SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to improve results in the treatment of patients with radiation rectitis. The method is as follows: along with the first-line drugs — suppositories with mesalazine 1–2 g/day, and if there is no effect after 2 weeks of using rectal foam with budesonide 2 mg/day, the drug Alfazox is additionally administered rectally in the form of 1 Alfazox sachet 10 ml, mixed with 15 ml of 0.9% sterile NaCl solution, the prepared suspension is administered rectally by microenemas twice a day for 14 days.
EFFECT: invention provides improvement of therapy for radiation rectitis by reducing the healing time of defects in the mucous membrane of the rectum and anal canal in patients with rectitis after radiation therapy.
