FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to coloproctology and medical radiology. Introducer 5Fr is installed in right femoral artery, catheter is positioned below level of renal arteries and aortography is performed, after installation of a bleeding source, selectively catheterising an artery, which is a source of bleeding, and it is embolized with a preparation of PVA 300-500, the next day is argon-plasma coagulation with angioectasia of the bleeding area along the periphery of the ulcerous defect in flow of 0.3 l/min, FORCED APC mode, effect 2, 25 W.
EFFECT: method of treating enables to control rectal haemorrhage accompanying radiation rectitis of 4th degree, reduce the overall length of treatment, improve the quality of life and social adaptation of the patients.
