FIELD: measuring methods

SUBSTANCE: used to control the contamination of the oil of an internal combustion engine (ICE). A device for assessing the state of engine oil in an internal combustion engine contains an engine oil temperature sensor, a graphical data output device, a housing in which a peristaltic pump with a first controlled valve, a dynamic viscometer, oxygen and water sensors, a slot sampler interacting with the pump, and single board computer. The outputs of the engine oil temperature sensor, dynamic viscometer, oxygen sensor, water presence sensor are connected to the first, second, third and fourth inputs of a single-board computer, respectively, the first and second outputs of which are connected to the control input of the first controlled valve and the input of the graphical data output device, respectively. Additionally, a piezoelectric sensor is introduced, mounted in a housing made in the form of a hollow tube, one end of which is connected to the internal part of the engine crankcase. The output of the piezoelectric sensor is connected to the fifth input of the single-board computer, a high-pressure air source, a reducer, a second controlled valve and a dehumidifier are installed in series, connected to the end of the case opposite to the piezoelectric sensor, the third output of the single-board computer is connected to the control input of the second controlled valve.
