FIELD: internal combustion engines.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in fuel supply systems of internal combustion engines (ICE). The control system for the supply of hydrogen-containing synthesis gas to the ICE intake manifold consists of a metering valve for supplying liquid fuel (1) from the fuel tank (2), a synthesis gas accumulator (3), a metering valve for supplying hydrogen-containing synthesis gas to the ICE intake manifold (4), high pressure fuel pump rail position sensor (5), fuel supply control position sensor (6), engine speed sensor (7) crankshaft, temperature sensor (8) catalytic reactor (9) with evaporator (10) and condenser (11), control unit for the supply of converted fuel (12), metering valve for water supply (13) from the tank (14) to the steam generator (15), steam temperature sensor (16), metering valve for superheated steam supply (17), air supply metering valve (18) and engine stop device (19).

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to ensure prompt control of the supply of the required amount of converted fuel and the possibility of implementing steam-air conversion of liquid diesel fuel into hydrogen-containing gas, which contributes to maintaining the optimum temperature and increasing the durability of the catalyst.
